Promotion of UQ Materials Performance’s expertise is co-ordinated through UniQuest Pty Limited, which is the commercialisation arm of The University of Queensland. 

UniQuest Pty Limited is an incorporated company, owned by The University of Queensland, and its key mandate is to commercialise the University’s acclaimed intellectual and physical resources to both the Australian and International communities.  As a result, UniQuest’s Consulting and Research Division actively seeks new research projects and commercial opportunities on which to collaborate and add value.

UniQuest manages contractual and legal negotiations on behalf of UQ Materials Performance, as well as providing the consortium with extensive insurance cover, such as professional indemnity and public liability insurances.  Therefore, clients of UQ Materials Performance can be assured of a high standard of performance and protection from their business relationship, and key consortium principals are not distracted by administrative requirements and can concentrate all of their energy on their respective clients’ research projects.
